BERISABABIES. Ragdoll Cats

This is Tich, Our Ragdoll.

He is a big cat and very loving but he didn`t always look like this.

 

 Delilah had 7 lovely kittens.

All went well for the first week. I soon noticed the

 two kittens where looking weak and their coats

where dull looking. We rushed them to the vets

 and he found Delilah had an Absess in her mouth

 and the poison has gone down in the milk and then

 the milk dried up.

Four Kittens died over the next few days and although

 i was hand rearing just three kitten, It was very hard.

Delilah went into the vets to have her operation.

When Delilah came home she was groggy for a day

or two and had no milk to feed them but she helped

me clean them and kept them warm, She was so good.

We had two Red points and one Blue point.

 We kept hand feeding untill they where over 12 weeks

 and they where so small, The vet didnt like their chances.

 At one stage they looked so small and Tich had lost some

 of his fur we feared the worsed. My Mum kept feeding

every few hours, Even through the night and it paid off.

The Blue point had his last Vaccination and he was

homed to a lovely family, The Red was a nice size

 and we kept him on an extra few weeks to make

sure until he had the all clear.

 He was over 23 weeks before he could go to a

new home.

Finally Little Tich was soon named and we did

have every intention in rehoming him, But he was

 so small he didnt have his first Vaccination until he

was 18 weeks old and over 21 weeks before his second.

This was Tich at 6 months old,

 He had quite a few visits to the vets for different ailments and

it was then we decided it was best for him to stay with us. 

 

As you see, We have given him a little playmate,

Tich and Ceri are growing so much.

We thought it was about time Tich did some work for his keep.

His first job was to show the kittens how to play in the boat.

Tich loved his job, But liked the boat more and wouldnt come out of it.  

 

He doesnt mind sharing Scooters basket with the others,

Here he is with Scooter again, He must be one of the most laid back cats around.

 

 

Tich is growing so much now, Its hard to believe this was the tinylittle kitten

that we thought we may loose.

He is so loving and has a very strong bond with my mother,

He follows her everywhere, Just  like a dog.

 

 

 

 

Its hard to believe this is the same tiny kitten that my mother hand fed.

He is the most lovable cat and also the most naughtiest, But we always forgive him whatever he does.

Here`s Tich with Sadie, Scooter and my Uncle Andrew who was visiting from Australia,

He doesnt like being left out!!!!!!

She has watched Tich grow up, She sent me these amazing photos of him, She took them on her last visit.

 

 

 

Tich has grown into such a lovely cat, He still very naughty but we forgive him when he rolls over for his belly to be tickled.

Tich is now over three years old and has turned into a stunning soft lap cat,

 Who is very naughty but also so much fun.
