Ragdoll Cats

Cat Shows

It is only this year that i have been to my first Cat show.

Whether your are a potential pet owner or just a cat lover,

You should visit a show. It is a great family day out.

All the cats that  attend are wonderful and there are always lots of trade stands.

If you are interesting in Visiting or showing, There are show Scheduals on the links page

to The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

It is not just Pedigree cats, There are also Pet cats, So anyone can enter.

So much work must go into organising these show ,

From the Cat Clubs, The Judges and Stewards and just eveyone who is involved.

We have only shown three times, It is hard work but very enjoyable.

Every cat in the show deserves recognition, As it is a long day for them,

Our First show was Cambria Cat Club, This was a lovely show.

This was RIO`S FIRST SHOW . He was 2 years old and is our

entire cat. He was very nervous and he coat was not in the best condition

for the day, He had a second for the Open Class, Which we thought was very fare.

He did very well on his side classes, he had two 1st and one 2nd.

Our next show was West Country Cat Club   13/01/07

What a lovely show and was organized brilliantly.

We entered Honey, She is 5 months old and had to be withdrawn,

She had been vetted in and was fine but when we left her, Her eye started to inflame.

We took her home and here eye was back to normal the next day, Our vet thought she had a

small piece of grit in it.

This was taken the morning after the show.

Honeys brother Merlin was also entered.

He belongs to Denise Wright and her daughter Isobel.

It was Denise`s first show and she did a fabulous job with

Merlin, He was also a little upset at first but soon settled down to enjoy

the day.

Merlin won 1st in his Open Class, 1st in a side class, 2nd in a side class and BOB.

We were all so Proud, Thank you Denise for showing him.
